Promoting effective communication with the Police and other Security Agencies.
Prompt reporting of suspicious and criminal activities to the police and other Security Agencies.
To protect lives and properties by ensuring the Safety and Security for each person in our Community.

Our Vision

Reducing opportunities for crime by increasing crime prevention awareness campaigns.
Developing neighbourhood crime prevention programmes.
Assisting the police and other Security Agencies in identifying and finding solutions to prevalent crimes.

ABOUT US

WELCOME TO NHFSS

The Nigerian Hunter & Forest Security Service (NHFSS) formerly known as the Nigeria Hunter Council is an umbrella body of Hunters in Nigeria registered with Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC) with the mandate to support the Nigeria Police and other security agencies to protect lives and properties in an ungoverned area (i.e Forests and Bushes). It is our pleasure to inform the general public that our Bill for an Enabling Act to Establish the Nigerian Hunter & Forest Security Service (NHFSS) as a Federal Government Security Service to detect and prevent forest crime has been passed concurrently by both Senate and House of Representative respectively, awaiting the Presidential’s assent. Our objectives are geared toward improving the quality and performance of men and officers of Hunter Council currently engaged in the protection of various public safety and security services within the communities. We have been trained by the Nigeria Police Force on Managing Security in the Forest, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and National Drug Law and Enforcement Agency (NDLEA)
