It was an atmosphere of jubilations and ecstasy in Ife, Osun State today, the 30th of June, 2023 as Ooni of Ife welcomed to his esteemed palace, our Commander General, Amb (Dr) Joshua W. Osatimehin, on a courtesy visit.
After he was warmly received by Ooni and the entire Members of Osun State traditional council, our Commander General, accompanied by some National and South-West state executives of NHFSS, whose visit to the palace was not unconnected with his unrelenting effort and unwavering determination to ensure that Mr President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu speeding assent to the NHFSS’s bill currently in his table, eloquently delivered his speech to the admiration of not only the Ooni and his cabinet, but other major state holders in attendance.
The highlight of the visit was the presentation of the Appointment Letter and Award of Excellence, as Grand Patron of NHFSS and Icon of Peace respectively.
